What I Accomplished
Northwestern Mutual, a leading financial services company, specializes in retirement planning, investments, and life insurance, with annual revenues of $36 billion, serving over 5 million clients through a dedicated team of more than 8,500 financial representatives, underwriters, and home office staff.

NM acquired LearnVest in part due to its exceptional product and its efficient collaborative product design/dev process. As NM integrated LV, I was tasked with incorporating LV’s design process across all teams while significantly improving the efficiency of multi-user workflows to streamline application processes and enhance client satisfaction.

Reduced insurance application processing time from two months to less than 14 days. Achieved the highest customer satisfaction in over 30 years with 97% of clients retaining life insurance coverage, and contributed to revenue growth, reaching $31.1B.​

Consolidated design systems and reduced product build time by up to 75%, making maintenance and updates up to 80% faster.
